Boat Battery Replacement and Maintenance

Maintaining your vessel's batteries is one of the most crucial items to take into consideration when maintaining your vessel. This power bank supplies engines for starting, as well as safety equipment, ( such as bilge pumps to prevent vessels sinking at dock or anchor), not to mention supplying power to lighting, hatches, fridges, VHF radios, toilets, etc  when not connected to shore power.

This vessel's charging unit spiked prior to failure, without the owner noticing, causing all sorts of costly issues. A new bank of x2 house AGM 205AH, x6 starting and aux batteries and a new Victron charging unit had this vessel's battery supply and charging system up and running again.

To prevent battery failure and ongoing electrical concerns and costs, BlueWater Vessel Management Sunshine Coast carry out checks to batteries SOC, charge where necessary and ensure chargers are operating, as one of the various checks we carry out whilst completing our monthly management program on your vessel. For more information visit our website or call us today.
